Live Your Design is operated by One More Light, LLC, a Utah company (we, us, our). This policy explains what we collect when you use live-your.design, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

The short version

We collect a name, a birthday, and your email to create a reading and send you its private link.
When you enter your email, we send your reading there, along with occasional notes from Live Your Design. You can stop the notes anytime.
We never sell your personal information, and we never share it for advertising.
If you order a bracelet, payment and shipping details are collected by our payment processor, Stripe, not stored by us.

What we collect

Reading details. The name and birthday you enter. If you request a reading for someone else, such as a gift, we collect that person’s name and birthday from you.

Your email address. Used to send you the reading and its private link, order receipts and shipping updates, and occasional notes from Live Your Design. The form says so where you enter it, and every note has an unsubscribe link.

Order details. When you buy a bracelet, Stripe collects your payment information and shipping address under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, shipping address, the item you ordered, and a reference to the reading it belongs to, so we can make and ship it.

Technical information. Like most websites, our servers record basic technical data such as a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We use it to keep the site working and to prevent abuse, such as automated form submissions. We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you; the private part of reading links is removed before anything is counted.

How we use it

To create your reading and keep it available at its private link.
To email you the link, and to email a reading to an address you ask us to send it to.
To make, ship, and support bracelet orders.
To send occasional notes from Live Your Design, which you can stop anytime.
To protect the site from abuse and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used.

How readings are written

The words in each reading are generated by an artificial intelligence writing model from the name and birthday you provide. We send the model only what it needs to write the reading. Readings are for reflection and enjoyment and are not advice of any kind.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that run the site, and only for the purposes above:

Hosting, databases and site analytics (Vercel and Neon)
The AI models that write reading text (Anthropic, with OpenAI as a backup)
Customer records (HubSpot)
Email delivery (Resend)
Payments (Stripe)
Shipping carriers, to deliver your order

We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.

Readings for other people

When you enter another person’s name and birthday, you confirm that you are doing so for a gift or with their permission. The reading is stored at a private link. Anyone who has that link, including the printed card that ships with a bracelet, can open the reading.

How long we keep it

We keep readings so that their links keep working. Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and support. You can ask us to delete your reading or your personal information at any time by emailing us, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Stop our notes with the unsubscribe link in any message, or by emailing us.
Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct or delete it.

Residents of some states and countries have additional rights under local law. We honor these requests wherever they come from.

Children

Our site is intended for adults. If you are under 13, please do not enter your own information. A parent or guardian may request a gift reading for a child, and may ask us to delete it at any time.

Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, and limited access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your private reading link to yourself if you do not want others to see it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, let you know by email or on the site.
